Lower back
Perhaps one of the most common location of complaints is the lower back. What is important to know is that there is a close relationship between the lower back and the abdominal cavity. The organs in the abdominal cavity are suspended directly (through a connective tissue structure(fascia)) or indirectly (through the peritoneum) from the spine. Therefore, complaints of the lower back are often related to the tissues of the abdominal cavity and vice versa. Thus, in order to permanently resolve lower back pain, it is extremely important that this relationship between the abdominal cavity and lower back be balanced. Below is a list of what complaints might occur.
- Lower back pain
- Spit
- Sciatica
- Lumbago
- Osteoarthritis/Atritis
- Muscle complaints
- (Work) posture complaints
- Persistent symptoms after surgery
- Scar tissue complaints
